Questions about products.
We do not offer free trials, but we provide a 30-day money-back guarantee. This allows you to use and "try" the product for up to 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can return it for a full refund.
Our goal is to empower producers with our products. If you don't get any use out of one of our packs, we want you to get your money back so you can invest it elsewhere in your career.
Please check our refund policy to find out more.
Additionally, we sometimes offer free beta packs, which provide a preview of our premium packs. However, they contain 20% or less of the full pack's content. You can find those over on our Free Downloads page.
Short answer: Our products are compatible with most Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs).
For our soundbanks, we offer presets specifically for Xfer Serum and LennarDigital Sylenth1. These are third-party VST plugins, and any DAW capable of hosting such plugins will be compatible. Please note, these plugins do not come bundled with any DAW and must be purchased separately.
Our sample packs consist of straightforward .WAV files, which are universally compatible with nearly all DAWs, as they all support the import of these samples.
Regarding our project files, they are specifically created for FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro. Therefore, to fully utilize these project files, one of these three DAWs is required.
Here's a list of popular DAWs along with the categories of our products they support:
• FL Studio [Soundbanks, Sample Packs, Project Files]
• Ableton Live [Soundbanks, Sample Packs, Project Files]
• Logic Pro [Soundbanks, Sample Packs, Project Files]
• Cubase [Soundbanks, Sample Packs]
• Pro Tools [Soundbanks, Sample Packs]

Short answer: Everything except our project files is 100% royalty-free!
We offer various types of sounds and tools in our products. Mainly soundbanks, sample packs, and project files.
Soundbanks are presets made for third-party plugins like Xfer Serum or LennarDigital Sylenth1. These are 100% royalty-free.
Our sample packs, containing various drum one-shots and loops, synth one-shots and loops, FX, MIDI, vocal chops, vocals, and more, are also 100% royalty-free.
So, you can use our samples, loops, and presets for various commercial purposes with no issues. For example, using them in a song and then distributing that song on streaming platforms to make money is allowed.
On the other hand, our project files are not royalty-free. Those are strictly meant for educational purposes only. However, while the project files themselves are not royalty-free, all the samples, loops, and presets inside of them are 100% royalty-free.
For comprehensive details on usage and restrictions, we encourage you to visit our copyright policy page.
Short answer: No, project files are not royalty-free. They are meant for educational purposes only.
Why? Two reasons.
First, our original project files contain original compositions that belong to us. If our projects were royalty-free, every customer could open them, export the composition, and call it their own. That'd be a copyright nightmare.
Second, the project files in our "Artist Edition" series are remakes of tracks from the artist the pack is inspired by—meaning they contain compositions that we don't own. If our projects were royalty-free, it would mean that we allow you to use another artist's melodies. That'd be a legal nightmare.
So, for those reasons, our project files are not royalty-free. However, note that the presets, loops, and samples used in them are still 100% royalty-free.
For comprehensive details on usage and restrictions, we encourage you to visit our copyright policy page.
Short answer: Check the product page 👍
The required version of Serum or Sylenth1 varies for each product as we continuously update our plugins. To ensure compatibility, we specify the version used for creating the presets on each product's page.
Using that specified version or a newer one will ensure smooth operation. We recommend keeping your plugins up-to-date to avoid compatibility issues with our presets.
Short answer: Check the product page 👍
Our project files are primarily designed for FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro. Since each DAW has its own approach to updates and version compatibility, we recommend using the most recent version of your DAW.
We indicate the DAW version used for the project files on every product page to ensure compatibility. Using the mentioned version or a newer one will guarantee smooth functionality.
Short answer: Of course you can!
You can process, modify, and creatively alter any sample, preset, or loop from our packs to suit your production needs. Feel free to EQ sounds, compress them, reverse loops, slow them down, pitch samples, alter presets, and more.
While our sounds are designed to be high-quality and mix-ready right out of the box, we encourage you to apply your own processing, layering, and modifications to make them uniquely yours.
However, it's important to note that our sounds cannot be used to create competitive products, such as your own sample packs or preset packs. For example, modifying a preset or reversing a guitar loop does not transfer ownership of the original sound to you.
Our licensing is designed to enhance your music production while respecting the integrity of our products. For more detailed information, please refer to our copyright policy.
Questions about buying.
Instantly! After a successful checkout, you will be redirected to your order summary page, where you can download your purchased packs.
You can also, at any time, access all of your product downloads through the Downloads section within your account.
We accept most major credit and debit cards like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others. We also accept PayPal payments.
We accept most major currencies. We always charge you in EUR, but if you use a different currency with your bank or PayPal account, our payment processor will convert it to EUR for you.
For added convenience, you'll see an estimated total in your local currency alongside the EUR total during checkout. This feature is designed to give you a rough idea of the transaction's cost in your local currency. Please note, however, that this is an approximate amount, and the final charge on your account may vary slightly from this estimate due to fluctuations in exchange rates and fees applied by your bank or payment provider.
Short answer: We need it by law.
We offer digital products only and do not ship any products to any address. That's why we don't ask for a shipping address but a billing address instead.
Depending on where you're from, this is either totally normal or kinda unusual. So here's why we need your billing address.
First, we're required by law to document every order on our site with an invoice. By law, that invoice must include both our and your billing address.
Second, tax. Depending on where you're from, we may have to pay sales tax. However, we pay for that. Any tax fees are always included, so your total won't change if you're based in a region where tax is applicable 👍
Other sample-sellers make it very clear that all sales are final—but we don't. Instead, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
We believe in our products and their value to producers, but if you're not completely satisfied, we offer refunds. We aim to empower producers, so if you're unhappy, we want you to have the opportunity to invest your money elsewhere in your career.
To request a refund, email our customer support with your order number. Before doing so, please review our refund policy to confirm your eligibility for a refund.

We're based in the EU and charge Value Added Tax (VAT) to EU customers. The VAT rate is adjusted based on your billing country during checkout.
Product prices always include VAT, so EU customers don't pay more than non-EU customers. On the checkout page, net product prices are adjusted based on your VAT rate, so the net price and tax amount equal the advertised product price.
As we are based in the EU, we apply Value Added Tax (VAT) to purchases made by our EU customers where applicable. It's important to note that the prices for our products always include VAT, ensuring that the total cost remains consistent and transparent for you, regardless of tax inclusion.
Currently, we do not offer the option for customers to use their VAT numbers to exempt themselves from paying the VAT at the point of sale. However, we understand the importance of VAT for business customers. Therefore, with every purchase, we provide a detailed VAT invoice. You can use this invoice to claim back the VAT from your financial institution or through your tax filings, depending on your local regulations.
Yes, we provide special pricing for students and teachers. Contact our customer support and provide us some education documents for verification, like a student ID card with an expiry date.

All purchases are handled through our very secure third-party payment gateways — Stripe for credit and debit card payments and PayPal for PayPal payments.

Questions about copyright.
Yes, you own your compositions that incorporate our samples, loops, and presets. However, you don't own the copyright to our sounds or the individual sounds used in your compositions. So other customers can use the same sounds without infringing on your copyright, and vice versa.
Yes, all of our free and premium products are covered by the same broad copyright license.
However, note that some of our products contain project files, and as mentioned in the said copyright license, these project files are not royalty-free. They are solely meant for educational purposes and are not meant to be used commercially or even for non-commercial purposes.
You may not use our sounds as standalone sound effects or loops. You also may not transfer, broadcast, stream, redistribute or use our sounds except as incorporated into a music product.
You may also not use them to create new samples, loops, or presets to compete with Stickz or create a competitive product like a sample pack, for example. For a complete list of all restrictions, please check our copyright license.
We are incredibly proud of the products we make, which is why we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. However, if a product should be refunded, you do not own that product anymore and lose the rights to our copyright license. Thus you may not use that product in any shape or form. Neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes. Doing so would be considered copyright infringement.
Yes, you can! There are many ways you can commercially use your compositions that incorporate our sounds, including uploading them to streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and others.
This is rare but can happen. Content ID systems may flag your song as a "copy" if another Stickz customer uses the same melodic loop as you did. Yes, even if you chop up the loop, pitch it, or stretch it. If this happens, dispute the claim, mention that you used a royalty-free loop, provide the sample/loop name, and include links to the product page and our copyright page. Distributors and labels are very aware of royalty-free loops and will simply lift the claim.
If your dispute should get rejected, contact our customer support for help. We'll sort things out for you!

No, you do not and shouldn't. The thought and gesture is much appreciated — however, using our likeness without our permission is strictly prohibited. So you may not use our likeness ("Stickz") as a feature, collaborator, producer, co-producer, or any other form of contributor in your compositions.
You also may not use the likeness of our vocalists if you use one of our royalty-free vocals in your compositions. We keep the vocalists anonymous anyways. However, if you recognize a vocalist, using their name or likeness is still strictly prohibited.
If the sample/loop is part of a larger composition, it is covered by our royalty-free license, even if the sample/loop is solo'd at some point in the composition.
